Frequently Asked Questions

How Much To Secure You?

All wedding bookings require a £500 Booking Fee to secure the date. The balance will be due 1 calendar month before your wedding date. Extras can be added at a later date if required.

Do You Offer Wedding Albums?

Yes of course, and I use Henley Albums, however I don’t tie you in to an ‘Album Package’ at the booking stage. Once your gallery has been delivered I can walk you through the Album Order Process.

Are You Fully Insured?

Absolutely! Up to £10 Million for Public Liability Insurance, which would probably cover the Taj Majal, or a Toby Carvery in Rotherham at least. Plus of course Private Indemnity, and all of my gear is covered too.

Will We Need a Second Photographer?

These are optional, however for larger weddings (over 100 guests), I strongly advise having 2 of us there to get good guest coverage. Plus if you want the Groom’s story telling before the ceremony, then adding one is a must! We can of course discuss this!

What Happends If You Are Sick or Injured?

In the unlikely event of unforseen circumstances, I would never leave a client without an excellent alternative wedding photographer, and would handle every other part of my obligation besides the physical shooting of the day including planning, editing, delivery of gallery etc.

Can We See Some Full Wedding Galleries Please?

Why of course! Click the link below to see a mix of Full Galleries and Sneak Peeks from some of my favourite recent weddings

What About The Planning Process?

If you can get to Hitchin, we can have our Planning Meeting face to face (which is always nice), and failing that we can have a Zoom. We need about an hour, and I will get you to populate a planning document beforehand so I am prepped!

Tell Us About Engagement Shoots?

These are a great way of getting comfortable in front of the camera before your big day, and the images could be used for invites, signing books, bunting etc. We’ll go somewhere pretty for an hour and a bit, and I will make it fun and relaxed!

Can We Print Our Wedding Photos?

All of your final gallery of wedding photos are delivered in a secure gallery that stays online for at least 3 years. They are Hi Res, unwatermarked jpg files of the highest quality and can be downloaded and printed to a large size. I strongly recommend you download your gallery immediately though and back it up safely, as the login PINs do expire.

Is VAT Applicable To Your Pricing?

No, as 90% of my business is weddings, to private clients, so it’s not worth VAT registering my business!

What If We Don’t Want Our Images On Social Media Or Your Website?

Marketing my work is key to my success of bringing in the next wedding client. I am proud of my work and want to share it with the world, but I do respect my client’s concerns also. One solution is to sell my Copyright of all images to the client, and another is to take a ‘Reasonable View’ on what and how it’s shared. Talk to me at our first consultation if this is a concern, so we can work up a solution that works for all parties!

Do You Recommend Any Other Wedding Suppliers?

Of course! In the same way you are considering booking a professional wedding photographer, you should take this approach with the rest of your wedding suppliers too! Here’s a selection of people I love to work with on my SUPPLIERS PAGE.
