Fun at a Fishermans Retreat Wedding in Ramsbottom, Lancashire

Despite now living in Hitchin, Hertfordshire - Gemma & John are both from Lancashire and wanted to get married near family and friends, so Fishermans Retreat near Ramsbottom proved the perfect location for them. Gemma & John met through mutual friends in Aug 2010 at a pub up north called the Hare & Hounds. One can only assume that John's chiselled good looks and sense of humour won her over!

5 years later to the month, their day began at the Best Western The Old Mill Hotel & Leisure Club in Ramsbottom where both parties tried to avoid each other in the same hotel during prep. During a wonderful ceremony, John & Gemma exchanged their own readings with each other and the guests were even treated to some Spanish!

The weather was being very 'Lancashire' however we still managed to grab a break between showers to get some group shots done, and a few shots of the happy couple by the lake in the grounds. During the speeches, gifts were exchanged between best men and bridesmaids and Gemma was later treated to not 1 but 2 private singing performances by her Dad and new husband. The latter being John Legend's 'All Of Me' played on piano and sung by John.

Before I headed back to Manchester Piccadilly train station I managed to grab a few shots of the disco and cake cutting on what was a fab, fun filled day for everyone there.
